Title Measurement of R in the Nucleon Resonance Region on Deuterium and the Non-Singlet Moments of the Nucleon
Abstract This experiment ran in Hall C at Jefferson Lab to measure L/T separated structure functions from deuterium from the quasielastic region through the nucleon resonance region and beyond(up to W2 = 4.5 GeV2), spanning the four-momentum transfer range 2 < Q2 < 4.5 (GeV/c)2. This experiment is the second part of the first global survey of these fundamental separated quantities on deuterium which began with the low Q2 data taking period of E02-109. These measurements were used to extract separated structure functions F1, F2, FL and the ratio R = sigmaL sigmaT. Combining these measurements with the E99-110 proton data, the non-singlet moments of the nucleon were extracted.
