Publication Abstract: Scattering amplitudes for the coupled-channels pi-n, KKbar and pi-n' in isospin = 1 are extracted from the discrete spectrum of eigenstates in three volumes determined using lattice QCD with m_pi = 391 MeV. The S-wave is found to feature a prominent cusp-like structure in pi-n --> pi-n close to KKbar threshold, and an a0(980)-like resonance is identified, corresponding to a pole in the complex energy plane, coupled to both pi-n and KKbar.
