Invited Talk compiled for Perceiving the Emergence of Hadron mass through AMBER@CERN
Publication Abstract: I describe the recent progress by the HadStruct Collaboration aimed at computing the structure of the pion from first-principles calculation in lattice QCD. I begin by presenting the Pseudo-PDF and Lattice Cross Section approaches, emphasizing that they are formulated in terms of Lorentz invariants with a short-distance scale to admit factorization. I present resent results on the pion PDF using both approaches, and compare with phenomenological determinations and other theoretical approaches. I conclude with plans for future work.;
