Publication Abstract: | I review the status of lattice QCD calculations for the spectroscopy of hyperons. I describe recent theoretical advances, and some of the challenges that need to be tackled to apply these advances to the hyperon sector. I conclude by outlining the developments in leadership-class computing and software that will enable ab initio calculations that can confront, and possibly predict, experimental outcomes from the KLF. |
