Publication Abstract: Forged ingot Nb is a novel processing method to obtain Nb discs used for the fabrication of superconducting radio-frequency cavities. This contribution reports on the fabrication, surface treatment and cryogenic RF testing of two 1.5 GHz single-cell cavities made of this material, with a residual resistivity ratio of ~100, at Jefferson Lab.
