Publication Abstract: Jefferson Lab Experiment E94018 measured the deuteron tensor moments t 20 , t 21 , and t 22 at six kinematical settings at four momentum transfers from 4.1 fm ^-1 to 6.6 fm ^-1. The new data on t 20, the concurrently measured deuteron structure function A(Q^2) data, and the world data on the deuteron structure function B(Q^2) allow a separation of the deuteron form factors Gc and GQ . The deuteron structure is well described by both nonrelativistic and relativistic theoretical models while pQCD predictions are not applicable in this four momentum regime.
