Publication Abstract: The ^1H(e,e'K^+)Lambda reaction was studied as a function of squared four-momentum transfer, Q^2, between 0.52 and 2.00 (GeV/c)^2, and of the virtual photon polarization parameter, epsilon, with high precision. The experiment, E93018, was carried out in Hall C at Jefferson Lab in 1996. The results of the experiment show the need for revision of the previous models of kaon electroproduction in this kinematic regime.
